Participate in challenging Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training!

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) is a combat sport that focuses on ground fighting. This unique martial art is mainly known because when using the special techniques and movements less physically strong people can compete against bigger and stronger opponents.

Brazilian martial arts originated in Japan and is a modified version of the traditional Japanese Jiu Jitsu. Of course, this variant has its origins and techniques from traditional Jiu Jitsu, but the emphasis of the techniques and training is on fighting from the ground.

In addition, BJJ does not use punches, kicks and blows, but the focus is on clamping and strangling the joints of the opponent. Despite the fact that Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has been practiced in the Netherlands for years, this martial art does not yet have the great fame it deserves.

Our head trainer Rodney van der Vlugt (IMMAF certified coach) has a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and therefore has all the necessary experience to teach you this wonderful sport! So take advantage of the unique opportunity to take a trial lesson!
